Mission
Ashraya is a charitable residential rehabilitation center for challenged female children stricken with Polio, Autism, Multiple disabilities, Cerebral palsy or mental retardation in the age group of 5-15 hailing from economically, socially and educationally backward families, broken or single parent family, family of addicted or single parent family.
Ashraya provides accommodation, food and clothing, in house education upto 12 th std adopting the regular school syllabus and curriculum, specially designed courses/activities to bring out latent creative talents and livelihood oriented skill development. By taking over these responsibilities of a challenged girl child by Ashraya, the unfortunate mother gets freedom and opportunity to go out and earn a living for the family.
To make all these possible, Ashraya showers the child with love, affection and a sense of belonging. Ashraya tries to mould each child into a self reliant and dignified individual with a will to live successfully in spite of the problems and challenges caused by their disabilities.
